Kenneth F. Nowak Scholarship

Scholarship Award Criteria

This scholarship fund was set up by the Cheektowaga Soccer Club for the late club member Kenneth F. Nowak. Mr. Nowak was a community minded individual who supported the youth of the soccer club by donating his time in making sure the players were well represented.

The criteria for an individual to receive this award are:

  • You must be a senior
  • Playing on a varsity soccer team for one of the local Cheektowaga school systems.
  • Have participated in school organizations, sports teams, and/ or active involvement in community events.
  • Applicant must type a letter why you feel you should receive this scholarship.
  • Have two letters of recommendations, typed, signed and dated from coaches, employers, or teachers for example.

    • Only complete applications will be accepted and must be postmarked by October 22th.

    The winner of the award receives a plaque with their name inscribed, their name on the trophy, which stays at their school on display, and a monetary amount toward college expenses.
